Life and Subway Surfers

It has been a long time that I have written some article/blog. After a long time, I got a reason to write something and was thinking about what to write. It took nearly a fortnight for me to decide on the topic which clicked to me in just some random thought that stroked my mind while playing a mobile game.

It has been years now playing the game named SUBWAY SURFERS. I started playing this in order to compete with one of my friend Disha Goradia Panchal and we used to beat each other’s record every alternate day.

While playing the game last evening; a thought ran through my mind that hasn’t our life become a race just like Subway Surfers.

We are running

1. To reach were? We don’t know.
2. To achieve what? We don’t know.
3. To save our life from whom? We don’t know. And etc.

Sometimes we are flying high - JETPACK , sometimes there is a high jump – POWERJUMPER, sometimes our efforts pays us double of what efforts we put – x2 Multiplier and sometimes we run with jumps – POWER SNEAKERS. Every time there is a mission to complete. You put all your efforts physical and mental to complete that mission and what happens next??? Is you get another mission. It happens to us the similar way in real life too. We set some targets/goals to be achieved like salary hike, bonus, holiday trips, family outings, celebrations at home, etc etc. Just when we are done with that there is another target like next trip, next celebration, company’s next (probably higher) target, etc etc.

Just as in real life we can’t do all assignments and get all possible remuneration/perks, in subway surfers also we can collect all the dollars that we see during the run. But yes little a time we get a magical power of MAGNET where we don’t have to catch dollars; rather dollars will come catching us. You can put it like some lucky draw or something of that sort.

Then there is this key of life. For us, they are the one closest to us. Our children, wife, parents, siblings, family, friends. They come for our survival in our hard time when we hit the train i.e in some trouble.

The important part is with updates in the game we get different themes/scenarios where we are running, but we are running on the railway track that's fixed. Similarly, in our life we also get many updates, from entering into adultery age group, to enter into college life, to having first, second, third, ... crushes, getting married, having children and it continues but the center theme of running on a railway track; completing mission after mission, collecting dollars, having high jumps, flyers, and sneakers and gathering the keys of life remains the same.

So let’s enjoy the race and make it a beautiful journey. Enjoying what we have collected instead of crying on what we couldn’t acquire. And most important remembering the beautiful fly and high jumps, that even for few seconds we were on top of the world.
